  • Make a donation to the Erica Schwab Health & Wellness Fund
Erica Schwab was a young woman who was full of life, potential, and dreams.  She was also a valued and inspirational part of our Clubhouse community. Her young life suddenly and unexpectedly came to an end on March 1, 2023. The Erica Schwab Health and Wellness fund was created by our Clubhouse Community, Friends, and Family to honor her life and to focus on the health and wellness needs of our Clubhouse Members that often go unmet. Individuals living with mental health disorders have a morbidity rate that is 10 to 15 years shorter than the general population.  They have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, pain, and Alzheimer’s disease. Many of these issues can be linked to lifestyle, diet, and poor medical care. We have committed to a Clubhouse Program that addresses these three issues through education, exercise opportunities, healthy food, and medical care advocacy.

The Meeting Place Clubhouse gratefully accepts donations to help us improve the lives of adults diagnosed with mental health disorders. All donations are tax deductible.
