This is the weekly meeting for the entire clubhouse community. Ours is at 1PM every Tuesday. At this meeting we talk about topics that affect the whole clubhouse. We plan outings, create policies, make announcements, and problem-solve.
It's also a time to share information on benefits, county programs, advocacy or other issues that affect our community.
We accomplish this through reaching consensus. What this means is that we try to create a decision that everyone can live with even though it may not be his or her first choice. This avoids creating division in the clubhouse with one side winning and the other side losing.
